Legal Student Assistant - Copenhagen
Legal Student Assistant – Gain Hands-On Experience with IP, Contracts, and Legal Administration in the Games Industry
Are you a law student in Denmark looking for real-world legal experience in a fast-moving, creative industry? Do you want to work with intellectual property, licensing, contracts, and legal administration in a field where technology and entertainment come together? Then we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for a legal student assistant to join our legal department in Copenhagen, working 15 hours per week as part of our legal team. With two highly anticipated projects in the works – Project 007, our original James Bond game, and Project Fantasy, our new online fantasy adventure – this is your chance to gain hands-on experience with the legal challenges behind game development.
What you’ll be doing
As a student assistant, you’ll support our legal team with a mix of administrative and legal tasks, including:
- IP (e.g. trademark protection), licensing, negotiations and actor agreements – assisting with contract review, drafting, and organization for external talent, including voice actors and music artists
- Contract management – handling signatures, archiving documents, maintaining legal records, and otherwise assisting with documentation
- Regulatory and compliance reviews – conducting legal assessments and providing recommendations on how regulations apply to our projects
- Internal legal communication – translating legal issues into clear guidance for non-legal teams
- Ad hoc legal support – taking on various tasks as needed, giving you broad exposure to legal work in the industry
Who you are
- Currently studying law in Denmark – you’re in the early years of your law degree (ideally in your first or second year of a bachelor’s) at a Danish university
- Interested in IP, contracts, negotiation, and legal administration – you have an interest in business law, contract law, and intellectual property
- Fluent in English – you are eager to develop your ability to communicate legal matters clearly, both in writing and speaking
- Organized and detail-oriented – you have a structured approach to handling administrative and legal tasks
