Vulkan Engineer
IO Interactive is on the hunt for two talented Vulkan Engineers to join our cross-site team in either Copenhagen, Barcelona, or Malmö. We’re bringing our flagship title, Hitman: World of Assassination, to mobile and we’re building the tech from the ground up.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on new code, shape the future of high-end gaming on mobile, and help bring Agent 47 to an entirely new platform.
What you will do:
- Develop new Vulkan rendering code tailored for Android devices.
- Collaborate closely with engine and rendering teams across our studios.
- Optimise performance across a wide range of mobile hardware.
- Contribute to cross-platform systems that maintain AAA quality on smaller screens.
- Bring Hitman: World of Assassination to life on Android without cutting corners.
Who you are:
- A deep knowledge of Vulkan, ideally with experience targeting mobile platforms.
- Comfortable in the Android ecosystem – NDK, performance profiling, hardware idiosyncrasies.
- Proficient in C and C++, with clean, efficient coding habits.
- Bonus: Familiar with C# and/or mobile game development.
- Bonus: Experience with 3D visualisation or rendering pipelines.
- Collaborative, curious, and motivated to solve tough technical problems.
